West, Frank Joseph Grant – Age 88, died May 288, 2011, in Camp Hill Veterans’ Memorial Building, QE11, Halifax. Born August 3, 1922, in Hopewell, he was a son of the late Welsford A. and Mary (Grant) West. He was a veteran of the Second World War and was a graduate of University of British Columbia. He is survived by his sister, Kathleen, Mrs. Donald Horne, Hopewell; nephew, John MacNeil, Dartmouth; and nieces, Patricia Sherwood, Dartmouth; Maryalice Hayunga Fuller, Augusta, Ga.;Joan Hayunga, Castlehill, Australia; Patricia Hayunga, San Francisco, Calif.; and Helen Hayinga Canberra, Australia. He was predeceased by brothers, William, John and Richard; and sisters, Doris, Joan, Marie, Mable and Bridget. Frank is to be cremated.
