Hope Elaine MacDougall

Hope was a kind, loving woman who enjoyed simple comforts, be it a soft blanket, soft leggings or a cool corner of a pillow. Hope loved baking for others and creating savory dishes. She was a lover of anything fashion, vintage movies, wildlife and animal videos. As a younger woman Hope dabbled in drawing and crewel work showing her hidden artistic talents. She enjoyed a long nursing career retiring only to care for the true love of her life, Robert who passed in December 2011.

Hope was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Frances (Einarson) McDonald and sister Kathy Bergeron. She will be missed, loved and remembered by sisters Michelle, Maureen (Kevin Bowers), brother Michael (Lyne), nieces Solange, Samantha and nephew Jacob.

Hope had many wonderful friends who will keep her light alive. Dear Hope we know the last few years have been difficult but we are sure your final journey has found you peace and back in Robert's arms.

Cremation has taken place. In lieu of traditional flowers, enjoy your favorites at home to remember Hope or donations can be made to Hope for Wildlife.
