Leona Cobb

Leona, beloved wife of the late Garth Eugene Cobb, is survived by her sister Muriel and brother-in-law Brenton Cobb. Much loved mom of Darlene Marr (Ricky), Marlene Cobb (Dave, Gary Cobb (Eleanor), Cathy Cobb and Wendell Cobb. A cherished Grandmother of Richard (Candice), Tanya (Howie), Greg (Kerris), Chris (Michelle), Tammy (Joe), Wendell (Stacy) and Gary (Beckie). A great-grandmother to Nick (Alicia), Jessica, Jorja, Zachary, Summer, Lexie, Callie, Casey, Nathan, Hannah, Chloe, and Scarlett.

Mom was predeceased by her mother Helen (Kitchen) Murphy and her father Jimmy Dominic Murphy; sister Elvie Smith; brother Dougie Murphy; and niece Helenjean Marr.

Mom had many nieces and nephews and their families that were like her own kids, and a special friend, Sue Thorpe (Dave), who spent many hours helping out. She was a very loving and outgoing person who had many friends in Halifax and Millville, NB. She loved her FAMILY very much.

A visitation will be held at Cruikshank’s Funeral Home on Friday, October 25th from 5-8 pm. The funeral service will occur on Saturday, October 26th at 9 am with a reception to follow, also at Cruikshank’s. Mom was always most comfortable in casual clothes so please honour her by wearing yours on this day if you choose. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to an organization of your choice.
