Mary Harriet Sullivan

Sullivan, Mary Harriet, 80 Herring Cove, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the QEII-VG site. Born in Burin, NL, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Annabelle (Brushett) Wagg. She was an avid gardener, having a green thumb for house plants, and enjoyed the outdoors, walks, going to the cottage, and most of all, spending time with her family. She had been retired after 17 years at Dalhousie Laboratory. She is survived by her husband John, sons: Jack, Cliff & Randy (Kelly). Grandchildren: Julie (Jamie), Ricky (Dana), Randy (Sheena), Karen, Katherine (Chris) & Bradley; great-grandchildren: Melanie, Trevor, Avery, Owen, Annabelle, Amelia, Isla & Eirik. She was predeceased by a son, Ricky, Brothers: Randolph, William & Frank; sisters: Violet, Selina & Jean. She was the last surviving sibling of her immediate family. Visitation: 2-4 & 6-8 pm Wednesday at Cruikshank’s, 2666 Windsor Street, Halifax. Funeral Service will be held 11 am Thursday St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Hebredean Dr., Herring Cove.
