Peter Dimitropoulos

Dimitropoulos, Peter, 68 of Dartmouth passed away October 16, 2010 in the QEII VG site. Born in Petra, Greece, he was the son of the late Christos and Stella(Ninos)Dimitropoulos. Peter immigrated to Canada in 1966. Peter was an easy-going and even-keeled person who made friends easily. Peter managed El Strato lovingly for 33 years. He is survived by sons Christos, Dartmouth and Achilles George, Dartmouth; daughter Maria, Dartmouth; brother Nick(Diane), Tantallon; sisters Veloudo(George) Tasiopoulos, Greece, Lillian(Bill)Botis, Halifax and Athanasia Moustogiannis, Greece and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by brother Gerasimos”Mike”. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8pm Tuesday, October 19, 2010 in Cruikshank’s Funeral Home, 2032 Robie St., Hfx, NS. Funeral Service will be held Wed. October 20, 2010 at 1:30pm in St. George’s Orthodox Church, Rev. Peter Maropoulos officiating. Interment will take place in Fairview Cemetery. Family flowers only.
