Priscilla Mary Dugas

Dugas, Priscilla Mary (Forgeron) passed away March 7, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Abraham and Stella (Briand) Forgeron. Born in West Arichat, Richmond Co. Priscilla was a strong woman with a wonderful sense of humour. She lived and worked tirelessly for her ten children and many grandchildren who loved her dearly and unconditionally. She was our rock who held the family together. She taught us everything except how to live without her. She was predeceased by her husband William, daughter Betty, a daughter in infancy and sisters; Alice, Evelyn, Matilda, Jean, and Gladys, brothers; Alfred, Raymond, Ernest and Vincent. She is survived by her sisters Rose Boudreau and Mildred Babin and daughters; Phyllis (Ian),Susie, Darlene( Ritchie)and Pauline( Dan) and sons; John ( Betty),Donnie( Jackie) Stephen( Franette), Calvin (Gail), and Tommy ( Jennifer), twenty one grandchildren and twenty five great-grandchildren. Special thanks to QEII 8.4 nursing staff and Dr. Alexis Goth for the loving care they provided. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held 1pm Friday March 13, 2015 in Cruikshank’s Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor St. Halifax.
