Sheila Marie Boylan

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Sheila Marie Boylan on Monday, August 3rd, 2015. She passed away at the age of 72 in Parkland at the Gardens, Halifax. She was a daughter of the late Guy and Florence Richardson of Mahone Bay. She was a loyal and devoted wife of 52 years to Edward Clarence Boylan. They raised their family in Bridgewater and upon her retirement from Maritime Tel and Tel, we able to share their love of travel to many places around the world. Sheila resided in Halifax during her final years but always considered Bridgewater her home where she was blessed with many great friendships. She treasured her devoted friend Brigid, who was a constant support during her illness. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband Edward; daughter, Jennifer; grandchildren, Madeline, Jack, Meredith and Charlie Leckey. Sheila was predeceased by her daughter Nancy Jayne Boylan. The family would like to offer a special thank you to the staff at Parkland at the Gardens; the nurses on the 2nd floor, and to her caregiver Virgie for their support and kindness during Sheila's final months. Thank you to all other family members and friends for their prayers, support, calls and visits. Service will be held on Monday, August 17th at 10:30 a.m., St. Andrew's United Church, Halifax.
