

Born in Wood Islands, PEI, he was the son of Josephine and the late Arthur MacLellan of Bell River, PEI.
He was employed for many years at the Halifax Shipyard and was janitor at Army, Navy, Air Force Club. Sheldon loved to play darts; he also loved county music, and gardening. He was a member of the ANAF. Sheldon was the superintendent of Convoy Towers. He spent every weekend visiting his best friend Gloria and their two dogs Lucky and Sox. “Rrrrr”
Sheldon is survived by his former wife, Wanetta, one daughter Shirley (Shane Daley) Pictou; one son Sheldon (Jeannette) Acorn, Halifax; seven sisters, Thelma, Jennie, Marie, Millie, Marjorie, Laura, and Ella; three brothers, Marvin, Louie, and Alfie. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Sheldon was predeceased by a sister, Shirley, and his grandmother, Mable.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 9, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Cruikshank’s Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor Street, Halifax; where Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 10. Burial will follow at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Army, Navy, Air Force Club.
