

Terence Anthony Davis, 88, of the Windsor Elms in Falmouth, passed away Thursday May 23, 2024 at Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville.
Terry was born in Halifax on November 25, 1935 to the late Thomas and Mary (Henneberry) Davis.
Mr. Davis was employed with Canadian National Canadian Pacific Telecommunications from 1956 to his retirement in 1989 completing 32 years of service.
Terry enjoyed traveling with visits to Europe, Barbados, Dominican Republic, and his many trips to Millbrook, NY to visit his sister Barbara and her family. During his stay there if he was not with his family he could be found picking apples at the local orchard.
Terry enjoyed reading, trivia, cribbage with family and friends, lawn bowling, and bridge. A devout Catholic, Mr. Davis was a member of St. Theresa’s, St. Thomas Aquinis, and Canadian Martyrs Parishes in Halifax. Later in life he, as a Eucharistic Minister, could be found delivering communion to patients at the Halifax hospitals.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Davis was predeceased by his sisters Barbara Rochfort and Bonita Davis; his brother Thomas Davis and nephew Edward Rochfort.
He is survived by his sister Heather Davis of the Windsor Elms and Sister-in-Law June Davis, Lower Sackville; as well as many nieces and nephews.Terry is also survived by his lifelong friends Richard and Deborah Dunham, Windsor.
There will be no calling hours. A mass of the Christian Burial will be 10:00 Friday, May 31, 2024 at St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Chebucto Road, Halifax; with Rev. Owen Connolly officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Good Shepherd Parish, Halifax.
