

PREVOST, Theaston Andre, 72 years, of Halifax, passed away on Tuesday, November 10th, 2015, at the New QEII Halifax Infirmary. Born in Windsor, he was the son of the late Vera Paris and Percy Paris (step-dad) and Father, Lionel Hampden.
Theaston was a loving husband, father and grandfather that truly adored his grandchildren. He worked for Holt Renfrew, CNR and retired from Canada Post after 33 years of service. He enjoyed music, art, and family get-togethers. He will be sadly missed by his wife Carolyn, nee Sampson, son, Theaston Jr. (Marcie), daughter Tatia, of Halifax, stepdaughter, Claudine (Greg) of Toronto, sisters Tanya Paris (Glen) of Montreal, Marion, Maxene, Audrey, of Halifax, Sharon of Trinidad, and Patsy of Ontario, brothers – Keith, Blayne, and Tyrone, of Halifax and Sinclair, Dwight, Lionel, Marcel and Elvis, and also by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and numerous other relatives.
He was predeceased by his mother Vera Paris, stepdad, Percy Paris and father Lionel Hampden, maternal grandparents George and Stella Prevost, brothers Curtis, Claude, Eric, Theodore and Graham and mother-in law, Madeline Sampson.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 13, 2015 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Cruikshank’s Halifax Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor Street, where Memorial Service will be held 2 pm Saturday, November 14, 2015. Pastor Iona Crawley officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at a later date. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, Donations may be made to the Cancer Society.
