Garagan, Victoria Anne” Vickey” Age 70 of Halifax passed away October 9, 2015 at home. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Angus and Anne (Liggins) Welsh. Vickey was a daughter of ‘Ashpan Annie’ from the Halifax Explosion and a lifelong resident of the Hydrostone. She was also a member of the Charitable Irish Society of Halifax, and a longtime employee of Maritime Travel. Vickey was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Surviving are her was husband of 46 years Michael “Mickey” Garagan; son Sean (Catherine) Garagan; daughter Shelley (Sheldon) MacDonald; grandchildren Quinn and Reese MacDonald, Jenna and Callum Garagan. Vickey was predeceased by sister Pamella Reiman. Visitation will be 2-4pm and 6-8pm Friday October 16, 2015 at Cruikshank’s Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor Street, Halifax, where Service will be held Saturday 10 am.
