Virginia May Fennell

Virginia “Ginny” Fennell passed away on March 27, 2026 at Northwood Manor. Born in Halifax in 1935, she was the daughter of the late Sherman and Beatrice Bower.

Virginia worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at seniors homes in Halifax and Lunenburg before retiring and moving back to Halifax in the early 1990’s.

She is predeceased by her loving husband Edward and brother Brian.

Survived by her devoted and loving daughters Susan (Halifax), and Debbie (Danny Klempfner) Toronto, sister-in-law Trish Ferguson, niece Sandy (Barry) Williams, and nephew Andrew (Lisa) Bower.

A special thank you to the dedicated and caring staff at Northwood 8th floor, and especially to Sue, who provided constant companionship and support for mom during the later years of her life.
