Wanda Winnifred Pace

Wanda (Hubba) Winnifred Monk Pace — 77, Halifax, passed away September 9, 2022.

Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of Thelma Monk (Jolimore) and Wilfred Monk.

Survived by her daughters, Tanya (Mike) Mailman, Beaver Bank, Kelly (Fred) Pace, Halifax; and granddaughters, Taylor (Ian) Pace, Caitlin Mailman and Justine Prudhomme. She was predeceased by her husband Burnham Pace, sister Anita (Mickey) Harnish and brother Wilfred (Bim) Monk. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and neighbors.

Her wittiness, sass and incredible strength was truly an inspiration. She loved sitting in her la-z-boy, watching Judge Judy, doing the Lexicon and more recently playing Wordle. A salt shaker was never far from her side and her love for McDonald’s #3 breakfast, medium coffee with one cream and an extra hashbrown was something that truly brought joy to her life. Our hearts will never be the same without her.

Cremation and a private burial for immediate family has already taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
