Alden Norman Campbell, age 92, of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2025, at Hospice of Hamilton. Born on January 18, 1933, in Rain County, Texas, Alden was the son of the late Alden Vernon Campbell and Bessie (Mills) Campbell. A proud and dedicated machinist, Alden retired from General Electric in 2010 after 44 years of service. His work ethic was only matched by his deep love for his family and unwavering faith. A lifelong and devoted member of Mt. Hope Baptist Church, Alden’s faith was central to his life. He cherished the fellowship of his church family and found strength and joy in serving the Lord.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Delores Jenell (Cayse) Campbell; three children: Tambrey (Henry) Engle, Kerri Spicer, Konni (Larry) Hamblin; five step-children, Sherry (Bill) Harrison, Terry (Dale) Poole, Vickie (Greg) Seamon, Ted McCreadie, and Jeff (Dawn) McCreadie; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, five siblings, step-daughter, Pammy Messelling and son-in-law, Anthony Spicer. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Monday, August 4, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor John Niehaus officiating. Interment will take place at Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Hope Baptist Church, 9200 Strimple Road, Harrison, Ohio 45030.
