Anna Mae Bookbinder

Anna Mae Bookbinder, age 85, of West Chester, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2018. She was born on September 23, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois to Bernard and Dora (Lilofsky) Deutch. Anna Mae worked as a secretary for 40 years, spending those last 5 years working with her son at Harbor Financial, before retiring in 2006. She was a member of the Northern Hill Synagogue. In her spare time, Anna Mae enjoyed needlepoint, traveling, and painting. She loved to show cats professionally, share stories, and spend time with her family. Anna Mae is survived by her sons Keith Bookbinder of Lebanon, Jason Bookbinder of Manteca, CA, and Dana Bookbinder of Corning, NY; grandchildren Andrew Bookbinder, Lisa Bookbinder Younger, Benjamin Bookbinder, Laurel Shannon, Alana Shannon, and Jonathon Mason; great grandchildren Rowan Younger, Melody Younger, and Cole Curtis; sister Estelle Raderman; and special friend Virginia Righi. She was preceded in death by her very special partner “Adorable Bob” Shannon and her parents. The family suggests donations be made in Anna Mae’s name to Ohio SPCA P.O. Box 546 Grove City, Ohio 43123.
