Barbara Jean Browne, age 78 of North Port, FL, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. Barbara was born on February 24, 1948 in Cincinnati, the daughter of the late Billy Gene and Marjorie Lee (Atkins) Hamilton. She worked as a Registered Nurse for many years. Barbara is survived by her son, Brian (Tina) Hinkle; grandchildren, Angela Hinkle and Juniper Finch; great-grandchildren, Liam Busse, Corbin Busse, and Auron Slaughter; and siblings, William (Connie) Hamilton, Tony (Laura) Hamilton, and Beverly Lester. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Jimmie Ray Hinkle, who passed away in 2004; second husband, Robert Browne, who passed away in 2021; and siblings, Sharon Miller and Gary Hamilton. A Visitation will be held from 10am until 11am on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton with a Service beginning at 11am.
