Born December 16, 1951 in Covington, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Bernard T. and Pauline (Hoelscher) Stolz. Bernie proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his wife of over 43 years, Karen E. (Fleckenstein), whom he married in 1975, at Saint Bernard Church in Dayton, KY; daughters, Stephanie (John (T.J.), Jr.) Miner and Amy Stolz; sister, Phyllis (Donald) Willmes; seven grandchildren, Lucy, Benson, Molly, Sophia Miner, Julian, Braxton, and Amelia Jones; many beloved nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Bernie will be remembered and celebrated for his kind and funny spirit. He enjoyed all things "Mickey Mouse", trips to Disney World, the serenity of the ocean, indulging in a big bowl of ice cream, and any of his favorite desserts. His life brought so much joy to his wife, daughters, and grandchildren.
A visitation for Bernie will be held Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 2470 Lorraine Court, Crescent Springs, KY 41017. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A graveside service will be held Friday, May 3, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, 205 Eibeck Lane, Williamstown, KY 41097.
