Betty Jo Boyd, Age 79 of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016. She was born on June 27, 1937 in Booneville, Kentucky to Jack Becknell and Rose Conrad. Betty married Richard Boyd Sr. in Hamilton in 1955. He passed away in 2011. Betty loved to go to church and spend time with her family. She is survived by her sister Christine Pryse; great nephew Larry Isaacs; and many nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, son Richard Boyd Jr., siblings Emogene Mainous, Louis Becknell, Robert Becknell, and infant sister Mary Becknell. Visitation will be held from 10 am until 11am on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton. Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Tip Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
