Carol Scott, age 87 of Hamilton, passed away on November 8, 2021, at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born October 14, 1934 in Brooksville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Wilburn and Myrtle Haley. She lived most of her life in Hamilton, Ohio. She taught elementary school special education at Edgewood City Schools in Trenton, Ohio for almost 30 years. She was a devout Christian. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Scott Jr., who passed away May 15, 1969 and her brother, William Eugene Haley. She was the loving mother of Brian W. (Valerie) Scott, Phillip C. (Jackie) Scott, and Haley Ann Scott. She was the beloved “Mamaw” to Whitney (Tim) Kaehr, William (Annie) Scott, Carol Ann Guthrie, Andrew (Weronika) Scott, Alexi (Brian) Bohman and Abigail Scott. She is also survived by her beloved sister, Marilyn Warner. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 4pm until 6pm at Center Pointe Christian Church, 5962 Hamilton Mason Road, Liberty Township, Ohio 45011. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Salvation Army 235 Ludlow Street Hamilton, Ohio 45011.
