ASHER, Carolyn L., 74, of Hamilton, passed away at her home on Monday, August 17. She was preceded in death by her father, George William Ervin and brother, Albert Eugene Ervin. Carolyn is survived by her husband of 45 years, Daniel Asher; son, John (Lori) Asher; granddaughter, Brittany Gilland; great-grandson, Grayson Grubbs; mother, Ida Ervin; brother, Kenneth (Jane) Ervin and sisters, Judy Ervin and Janet Stone. Carolyn retired from the Waterford Retirement Community in 2014 and leaves behind many beloved friends and co-workers. She was loved by many and will be sorely missed, especially by her little dog, Sassy. The family will receive friends at the Ivey Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Road, Hamilton, on Friday, August 21 from 1pm until 3pm with funeral services commencing at 3pm. Inurnment will take place in the Garden Mausoleum at Rose Hill Burial Park at a later date.
