Charles Herman Sparks of Fairfield Twp, 81, passed away Monday, October 2, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Carroll (Gray) Sparks; loving daughters Sherry (Bradley) Ward and Pam (Scott) Allen; dear grandchildren Chad (Stephanie) Allen, Kyle (Tara) Ward and Korey Ward as well as great-grandson Brycen Allen. Charles is preceded in death by Herman and Margaret Sparks. Charles had a passion for cars and racing. He began building and racing go-karts at a young age. He owned his own business as a mechanic and worked his entire life on creating and building race, sports or hot rod cars for himself and friends. As a fan of the game of golf he often found himself on the course with his buddies or spending time with his family. Visitation will be 10am to 12pm Friday, October 6, 2017 at the Ivey Funeral Home 2565 Princeton Road Hamilton, Ohio 45011. Service will be 12pm Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
