

Charlie “Chuck” Jones, age 91, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully at his residence on June 10, 2025. Chuck was a retired foreman of the Mosler Safe Company, where he dedicated many years of hard work and leadership. He also proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army and a life member of Washington Lodge #17 F&AM. Born March 5, 1934 in Manchester, Kentucky, to the late Colonel and Cora (Stevens) Jones, he was raised with strong family values that shaped his life. On August 1, 1959, he married the love of his life, Lucy Ellen Jones. Together they shared 65 wonderful years of marriage and raised a close-knit family. Chuck is survived by his devoted wife Lucy, their children Randall (Theresa) Jones and Karren (Mark) Hammack, and his beloved grandchildren: Jeremy (Leigh Ann) Jones, Jennifer (John) Grissom, Jaime Wright, Jessica (Andy) Moore, Andrew (Amanda Kolokowski) Hammack, and Kayla (Trevor Howard) Hammack. He also leaves behind 12 cherished great-grandchildren. Chuck is remembered fondly by his siblings Bobby (Wanda) Jones, John (Lorraine) Jones, and Edna Hobbs, along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Raymond Jones, Bernice Asher, and Hurshell Jones. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with a funeral ceremony to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Webb-Noonan Funeral Home.
