Cindy Ramsey

Lucinda “Cindy” Sue Ramsey, age 66, of Fairfield, passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Mercy Health Fairfield. She was born on December 30, 1958, in Hamilton, the daughter of the late Kathryn Davies. Cindy lived a life filled with love and devotion to her family. She married her soulmate, Jeffrey C. Ramsey, in 1978, and though his passing in 1981 was heartbreaking, she carried his memory with her always. She dedicated many years of service as Occupational Coordinator at Mercy Health, where she was admired for her kindness and compassion. More than anything, Cindy’s greatest joy was her family. She was a proud mother to Kristen (Chris Wooddell) Ramsey and Jeffrey (Amber) Ramsey, and grandma to Sullivan Ramsey, Elsie Ramsey, Zoey Storie, Luke Storie and Logan (Rachel) Storie, and great-grandma to Colt Storie. To her grandchildren and great-grandchild, she was not only a grandma but a constant source of love, encouragement, and warmth. Cindy was delighted watching them grow and cherished each hug, each laugh, and each memory they created together. Her grandchildren were her greatest blessing, and her love for them will live on in their hearts forever. Cindy is also survived by her siblings, Barbara Bowker, Betty Davies, Jane (Steve) Davies, and Bill Davies, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Jeffrey, her mother Kathryn, her sisters Jo Ann Sterling and Maurlee Volmer, her sister-in-law Anne Davies, and her brother-in-law Jake Bowker. A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home in Hamilton. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m., with burial at Rose Hill Burial Park. The family suggests contributions be made in her memory to the American Heart Association. Her love will live on in every life she touched, and her memory will forever be a blessing.
