I worked with Clyde in the old Government & Business Department and remember his calm professionalism and wry humor. A very hectic department and he made my first year working there so much better than it could have been. My deepest sympathy.

Although I didn't know Clyde well, I want to express my sympathy to his family and friends. I too worked for The Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County my whole career. As a fan of local history, I especially admired Clyde's dedication to his postcard collection and appreciate his giving it to the library where it can be shared with thousands of us.

Rest in peace Clyde. I appreciated your vast knowledge and your willingness to share it with your coworkers at the public library. Your assistance to many people over the years helped them greatly in their research. Always enjoyed running into you in Hyde Park, at the symphony, and even when you had moved into Twin Towers. Also your postcard collections are amazing! Thank you.
