He was born on July 6, 1951 in Hamilton to Samuel and Antoinette (Cappa) DeJohn. Dave graduated from Badin High School. He married the love of his life, Elaine on May 23, 1981. Dave was a lifelong electrician with the IBEW Local 648, and in his retirement years worked for Cincinnati Financial Corp. as an electrician. He was a member of many organizations to include the VFW, AmVets, Eagles, Monkeys, YMCA, and was a previous member of the Knights of Columbus for many years. Dave is survived by his wife of 37 years, Elaine (McCaughey) DeJohn, his son Sam DeJohn, sister Connie Meyer, and brother Tony DeJohn; as well as many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, September 17, 2018 at 10am at Sacred Heart Church, 400 Nilles Road, Fairfield, Ohio 45014. Burial will take place at a later date at the request of the family.
