David C. Hackworth, age 61, of Hamilton died Friday, February 10, 2012 at 10:03 p.m. at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born in South Portsmouth, Ohio on January 13, 1951, the son of Clifton H. and Donnie M. (Wilkerson) Hackworth. He had been employed at Miami University for several years. He is survived by his father, Clifton Hackworth, of Hamilton and two sisters, Joy Tipton and husband, Ricardo of Oxford and Pamela Schmidt and husband, Joseph of Morning Sun, Ohio. Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Rose Hill Burial Park with Rev. Mike Botts officiating.
