Delores “Diana” Straub, age 64 of Fairfield, passed away at Mercy Hospital Fairfield on Sunday, September 11, 2022. Diana was born on December 11, 1957 in Majestic, KY, the daughter of the late Charles Delbert and Ellen (Ingersoll) New, Sr. On September 23, 1993 in Hamilton, she married her husband of almost 29 years, John Clifford Straub. Diana is survived by her husband, John; children, Gina Charles, Roy (Judina) Blankenship, and Beverly (Billy) Dotson; step-daughter, Misty Myers; daughter-in-law, Tonya New; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Clifford (Joyce) New, Theresa (Johnny) Collins, and Charles New Jr.; and longtime friend, Marsha Leedy. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, James New; son-in-law, Sonny Charles; and siblings, Frankie (Dave) Bowman and Lori Faye (Bill) Preston. A Visitation will be held from 12pm until 1pm on Friday, September 16, 2022 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton.
