Dorothy Mae Whitlock, age 88 of Hamilton, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2016 at Fort Hamilton Hospital. She was born on April 27, 1928 in Paoli, IN, the daughter of the late Bruce and Lula Elliott. On October 26, 1951 in Covington, KY, Dorothy married her husband of over 64 years, Harold Whitlock. She had worked as a housekeeper at Miami University for many years. Dorothy is survived by her husband, Harold; children, David, Ronald, Deborah, Garry, Larry, Donna, Dennis, Brian, Deanna and Darla; 20 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and siblings, Jack Elliott, Kenny Elliott and Joann Wood. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, John; and siblings, Gene Elliott and Wanda Solliday. Visitation will be held from 11am until 1pm on Friday, May 20, 2016 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton. Funeral Service will be held at 1pm on Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Brian Buriff officiating. Interment will follow in Darrtown Cemetery.
