Age 26 of Hamilton, passed away suddenly on May 1, 2017 due to a vehicle accident. He was born on February 19, 1991 in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky, the son of Eric D. Ruff and Angela (Polley) Schoborg. Tony was a 2009 graduate of Fairfield High School and obtained his B.S. in Criminal Justice in 2013 at Thomas Moore College where he also played football. Tony was employed as a correctional officer for Warren Correctional Institution. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Angie and Mike Schoborg; father Eric D. Ruff; grandmother Opal Ruff; grandparents Tom and Georgianna Schoborg; aunts Sheri Ruff, Regina (Jeff) Heeger, Valerie Polley, Chris (Harold) Hensley, Julie (Richard) Stanfield, Katie Angell and numerous family and friends. A gathering for family and friends will be held on Friday May 5, 2017 from 4-7pm at Community Christian Church, 3401 Millikin Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45011. A celebration of Tony’s life will follow at 7pm with Pastor Randy Mosteller officiating.
