Eugene Richard Green

Eugene Richard "Dick" - age 82 of Fairfield Township passed away on Saturday January 3, 2015. Eugene was born October 16, 1932 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Eugene S. and Norma Green. On August 16, 1952 in Lawrenceburg, IN he married his wife, Evelyn Green (nee Slaton). Eugene retired from Fisher Body G.M. plant after 35 years where he worked as the Plant Engineer. He was a member of the Park Avenue United Methodist Church, the Phi Sigma Phi Fraternity and was a past president and coach of the North End Little League and Babe Ruth Baseball League. He also enjoyed bowling in a couples league at Fairfield Lanes Bowling Alley and was an avid fisherman.

He is survived by his wife; his children Edward (Jennifer) Green, Dr. Thomas (Cathy) Green, Richard (Jill) Green and Robert (Mary) Green; grandchildren Chris, Aaron, Sarah (Justin) Groover, Mandy, Matt, Aimee, Lindsay, Zach, Michael, Rachel, Donna, Julie and great grandchildren Ethan, Sean and Jalynn; brother Charles Green and sister Harriet Jones; also survived by numerous family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Shirley Hahn.
