

Eva (Riley) Yaw, age 82 of Hamilton, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2011 at Hospice of Hamilton. Eva was born on November 23, 1928 in Hamilton to the late Daniel and Rachel (Ponder) Riley. She was a graduate of Hamilton High School. On October 22, 1948 in Hamilton, Eva married her husband of over 62 years, Bill Yaw. She was an office manager at the office of Dr. Davis and Dr. August for many years. Eva was a member of The Presbyterian Church, The Hamilton High School 46ers, Murstein Country Line Dancers, Butler Belles Red Hat Society, The Presby Generation and also enjoyed quilting. She is survived by her husband, Bill; children, Scott (Susan) Yaw of Bucks County, PA, Cindy (Kevin) Geurin of Hamilton and Jeff (Nita) Yaw of West Chester; grandchildren, Kendra (Tony) Beasley, Jessica Yaw, Nick (Kristine) Yaw, Whitney (Mike) Beauchaine, Alex (Amanda) Spaulding, Drew Spaulding, Libby (Allen) Spruance, Jared (Codee) Yaw and Rachel Yaw; great-grandchildren, Lucas, Kelcee, Brayden, Aubrey, Brennan and Lexi; brothers, Manford (Sue) Riley and Richard (Joan) Riley; special cousin, Barbara Terry; and numerous nieces and nephews. Eva was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Rachel (Ponder) Riley); and grandsons, Brian and Brent Spaulding. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at 11am at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton with Dr. John Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Family and friends will be received on Friday, July 8, 2011 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
