Franzi Demmel

Franzi “Francie” Demmel, age 81, passed away January 18, 2019 in Hamilton, Ohio. She was born to the late Alois and Franziska (Aufleger) Greisinger on May 9, 1937 in Koetzting, Bavaria, Germany. Franzi married her husband, Oswald Demmel, on October 14, 1958 in Stuttgart, Germany. Together they immigrated to the United States in 1959. She worked for many years at Ohio Casualty as an insurance underwriter before retiring. Franzi was a member of the Liberty Home Association and enjoyed playing tennis. She is survived by two sons Ralph (Joni) Demmel, Rick (Kathy) Demmel; grandchildren Tyler (Margaret), Ross, John Paul, Emmy; great grandchildren Vivian and Violet; siblings Heidemarie, Anneliese and Alois and sister-in-law Heidi Giessler. Franzi was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Oswald Demmel and three siblings Heiner, Helmut and Hannel. Private family services are in the care of Rose Hill Funeral Home.
