Geraldine A. Allen, age 64 of Hamilton passed away at Glen Meadows on Wednesday, October 22, 2014. She was born in Hamilton on September 25, 1950 the daughter of Betty (Foley) Morgan and Joseph Durbin. Geraldine was employed in housekeeping at Ft. Hamilton Hospital for 10 years. She was a loving housewife who was devoted to her family. She is survived by her husband, W. T. Allen; step-daughters, Delonda (Joe) Carito and Deneva (Ron) Hill; grandchildren, Will (Amanda) Taylor, Dusty Howell, Travis Howell and Joey Carito; 8 great-grandchildren; her mother and step-father, Betty and Russell Morgan; and two sisters, Brenda and Sharon. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Durbin. Visitation will be held at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, 240 Ross Avenue, on Monday, October 27, 2014 from 10:00 AM to time of funeral service at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jacob Flannery officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Flat Cemetery. Geraldine’s family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staffs of Queen City Hospice and Glen Meadows, also Lisa Webb for their care and concern.
