Glenna J Matheny

Matheny, Glenna Jean, age 68, of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on December 30, 1955 to Norma and Alfred Owens. Glenna loved her family and dogs, quilting and donating the quilts to hospitals, grew flowers in her yard, very creative, worked as a buyer for Kroger, worked for over 20 years for the Government, was a beloved member for over 20 years at White Oak Christian Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Ernest Lee Elliott.

Glenna is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Jimmie R. Matheny-they were together for 21 years; daughters, Stephanie L. Porter (Steven), Jayme R. Kourt; sons, James D. Elliott (Veronica), Terry R. Elliott, David G. Elliott (Shelley), Dennis A. Matheny; grandchildren, Gracie, Samantha, Tucker, Mollee, Colton, Josephine, Bryson, Payton, Zoey, Alex, Andrew, Adam, Stefani, Isaac, Kaylin; great-grandchildren, Layla, Coda; brother, Alfred “Rocky”E. Owens (Gloria). She will be loved and cherished by a host of family and friends.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the White Oak Christian Church, Ross Campus, 1500 Ross Millville Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45013.
