Jane Buell Wilhelm

Jane Claire Wilhelm, age 85 of Hamilton, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Golden Years Nursing Home. She was born on March 13, 1930 in Hamilton, the daughter of the late Edwin E. and Ethel M. (Knox) Buell. Jane married her husband of 62 years, Ronald Wilhelm, on January 16, 1954 in Oxford. She attended Riley High School and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in education from Miami University. Jane taught school for 17 years at Fairfield Elementary and in the Talawanda School District. She then worked in the Butler County Auditor’s office until she retired to spend more time with her family and her four-legged friends. Jane is survived by her husband, Ronald; children, Michael (Jenifer) Wilhelm and Lisa (Joseph) McCaughey; grandchildren, Emily, Samantha, Katherine and Adam Wilhelm and Hannah McCaughey; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Mark Wilhelm. Visitation will be held from 1pm until 3pm on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton. A Memorial Service will be held at 3pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
