Jessie Mae Demaree

Age 83 of McDonald, Tennessee, formerly of Hamilton, Ohio passed away at the home of her son, Ed in McDonald, Tennessee on Sunday, January 13, 2013. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on December 30, 1929 the daughter of the late Moss and Maggie (Hibbard) Sergent. On March 5, 1949 in Newport, Kentucky she married Herbert L. Demaree who preceded her in death on December 31, 1992. Jessie was a homemaker and a member of Hamilton Seventh Day Adventist Church. She is survived by her sons, Edward M. (Catherine) Demaree of McDonald Tennessee and Douglas W. Demaree of Collegedale, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Matthew (Christa) Demaree, Amy Demaree Lewis, Hanna (Major John J. II) Jones, Heather Demaree, David (LaDonna) Fox, Bryan (Cyndi) Fox, Sarah (Robert) Dyke and Aaron (Joy) Fox; great-grandchildren, Ethan and Casi Demaree, Emily and Kylie Lewis, Elijah and Liliana Fox, Austin Fox, and Elena and Marshall Dyke; great-great-grandson, Samuel Aiden Lewis; sister, Mary Jane Hibbard of Fairfield, Ohio; and brother Calvin Sergent of Port Clinton, Ohio. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her daughter, Wilma Fox; two sisters, Eula Cupp and Nancy Vaughn; and three brothers, Troy, Bill, and Charles Sergent. Funeral services will be held at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, 240 Ross Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Friday January 18, 2013 at 12noon with Pastor Joel Rivera officiating. Burial will follow in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 11am to 12noon.
