John Lewis

John W. Lewis Jr. age 63 of Hamilton departed this life for a new begining on Sunday November 29, 2015 at 3:57 pm at Fort Hamilton Hospital. Dad was born on June 27, 1952 in Hamilton the eldest of four born to John W. Sr. & Carol (Duggins) Lewis. Dad graduated from Fairfield High School, Class of 1970. He enjoyed riding his Harley, hunting, fishing, playing pool, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Dad is survived by his children; son Kevin Lewis, twin daughters, Kelly (Andy) Altman and Shelly (Mike Stankorb) Wooten of Hamilton; grandchildren Mindy and Cody Wooten, Dillon and Justin Altman and his loving dog Cocoa; his father, John W. Lewis Sr; two sisters JoAnn (Ronnie)Lunsford, Nancy (Tom) Proffitt; one brother Wayne (Desaray Robinson) Lewis all of Hamilton; three aunts Ginny Duggins of Hamilton, Ruth(Dick)Pfoffman, Marlene(Joe)Arminio; two uncles Earl (Ruby) Lewis and Eddie Lewis all of Fairfield; one niece Ashley; four nephews Cody, Connor, Coy and Chase. The mother of his children Debbie Brown of Hamilton, long time friend Richie (Lori) Justice of Hamilton, and many cousins, relatives and friends. Dad was preceded in death by his grandparents and his loving mother Carol on January 11, 2006 and uncles and aunts George(Cynthia), Everette(Dorothy),Donald(Fern) and Cliff Duggins and Gladyse(Johnny)Rodgers. The family would like to thank Jim Wheeler, his nurse Jason, Therapist Katie, Wayne Wooten and Mike Stankorb for their time. Funeral service will be 2pm on Friday December 4, 2015 at the Ivey Funeral Home 2565 Princeton Rd. Hamilton. Interment will be in the Hickory Flats Cemetery,Overpeck Visitation will be from 12-2pm on Friday at the funeral home.
