John Kenneth Ragland

John Kenneth Ragland, age 71 of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at UC Medical Center. He was born on May 17, 1944 in Cincinnati, the son of the late Norman and Delora (Hatfield) Ragland. John married his wife of over 43 years, Linda (Combs) Ragland, on November 24, 1972 in Covington, KY. He loved playing golf and playing with his children and grandchildren when they were younger, but the true loves of his life were his three great-grandsons. John is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Lisa Ragland, David Ragland, Johnny Ragland, Jr., Timothy Crain and Lisa (David) Weissinger; grandchildren, Loren, Lindsey, Ryan and Brittany; great-grandsons, Jeffrey Kenneth, Jason and Joshua; and two sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers. Visitation will be held from 12pm until 1pm on Monday, January 18, 2016 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton. Funeral Service will be held at 1pm on Monday at the funeral home with Minister Charles Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the Emergency Department staff at Fort Hamilton Hospital and to the Neurological Intensive Care Unit staff at UC Medical Center.
