Lillian Marie Parrish

Lillian Marie Parrish, age 80 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. She was born on July 20, 1942 in Lansing, WV, the daughter of the late John and Dove (Dempsey) Vannetter. On August 28, 1958 in Tazewell, VA, Lillian married her husband of 36 years, Lawrence O. Parrish, who preceded her in death on May 21, 1995. She was a Nurse’s Aide until her retirement. Lillian is survived by her children, Cheryl (Christopher O’Connor) Callahan, Glenda (Claude) Philpot, Jeffery Parrish, and Larry Parrish; grandchildren, Jeffery Parrish, Miranda Parrish, Lorisa Parrish, Joni Garrison, Jaylah Parrish, Kylie Sullivan, Ashton Parrish, Sgt. Chrislynn Callahan USMC, Dalton Philpot, Joshua Philpot, and Timothy Philpot; and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; her daughter who passed at birth, Elizabeth Dawn Parrish; son, Dale Parrish; and brother, Roy Vannetter. A Visitation will be held from 11am until 1pm on Friday, April 21, 2023 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton.
