Linda K. Haynes, age 66, of Hamilton, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, October 5, 2011. Linda was born in Maryville, Tennessee, on May 27, 1945, the daughter of the late Carl William and Lucille (Carpenter) Crye. She was a devoted mother and loving grandmother. Linda is survived by her husband of 47 years, James Haynes; daughter, Lisa (Scott) Sullivan of Hamilton; three grandchildren, Shayla, Jacob and Jessica; sister, Mary (Virgil) Scott of Maryville, Tennessee; sister-in-law, Betty Dozier of Hamilton; and several nieces and nephews. Linda was also preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Crye and Harold Crye. The family expresses a special thank you to Dr. Rajaratanm and Dr. Rajan for their care and concern. Funeral services will be held at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton, at 12noon on Saturday, October 8, 2011, with Rev. Jacob Flannery officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Family and friends will be received prior to the service on Saturday from 11am till 12noon at the funeral home.
