

Lula Frazier, 90, of Hamilton, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2016. She was born in Wooton, KY on December 19, 1925 to George W. and Belle Hendricks Joseph. Lula was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gilmore; 2 sons, Gilmore Jr. and James Darrell; 2 grandsons, Quentin and Gil Frazier as well as 2 sisters, Rose Baker and Nancy Kilburn. She is survived by her children, George William (Carol) Frazier, Bennie Ray (JoAnne) Frazier and Kimberly (David) Whaley; 11 grandchildren, Greg, Krista, Angel, Melissa, Brigitte, Jimmy, Jaime, Brandie, Nicole, Clay and Zach; 27 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild and a host of other family and friends. Lula was well known in Lindenwald where she owned and operated Frazier Beauty Shop and was a member of New Miami Wesleyan Church. For the past 9 years she was lovingly cared for by her daughter, Kim and granddaughter, Brandie Dees. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Heartland Hospice for their excellent care of Lula. The family will receive friends at the Ivey Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Rd, Hamilton on Saturday, September 24 from 11am until 1pm with funeral services commencing at 1pm. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park, Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in Lula's memory be made to Heartland Hospice.
