Marlene Stinson, age 64, passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at UC Medical Center. She was born on February 14, 1957 in Cincinnati, the daughter of the late Lloyd and Virginia (Mitchell) Rinehart. On October 19, 1979 in Cincinnati, Marlene married her husband of 41 years, David Leslie Stinson, Sr. She was a Teacher’s Assistant at Hamilton County MRDD for 30 years and was a faithful member of Timberhill Baptist Church for over 31 years. Marlene is survived by her husband, David; sons, Roy Allen (Jade) Stinson and David Stinson, Jr.; four grandchildren; sister-in-law, Linda (Harold) Bryant; brother-in-law, Paul Gibson; many nieces and nephews; and was a bonus grandmother and second mother to many others. She was preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roy C. and Eslie Stinson; sisters-in-law, Edna Gibson and Phyllis McBride; and niece, Debbie Merritt. Visitation will be held from 5pm until 8pm on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Timberhill Baptist Church, 144 Timber Hill Drive, Hamilton, Ohio 45013. A Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at the church with Pastor Scott Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Marlene’s name to the Lighthouse Food Pantry, 626 Ridgelawn Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45013.
