MILLER, Meredith F. Age 79 of Hamilton, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at her residence. She was born on August 10, 1933 in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of the late James Edward and Meredith (Ferguson) Kinnard. On December 17, 1951 in New Brunswick, NJ, Meredith married her husband of over 61 years, Donald C. Miller. She was a graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School in Charleston, WV and a past President of the Brush and Easel Club in Hamilton. Meredith was active in making and exhibiting crafts and sewing items in many craft shows in Butler County and had won several blue ribbons at the Butler County Fair for items that she had made. She lived with her husband in London, England while he served in the United States Air Force. Meredith received an award from the West Virginia University Dames Club for assisting her husband in earning his degree from WVU. She is survived by her three children, Debbie (Al) Hymer, Cathie (Tom) Petroze and Brad (Sandy) Miller; eight grandchildren, Justin (Jessica) Miller, Brandon Miller, Logan Miller, Mason Miller, Alexis Miller, Carson Miller, Angie (Cliff) Partee and Christie (Jon) Crosby; two great-grandchildren, Aiden and Melody; and Melody's mother, Lacey Sheets. Meredith was preceded in death by her parents.. The family suggests memorial contributions be made in Meredith's name to Hospice of Cincinnati, Inc., P.O. Box 633597, Cincinnati, OH 45263-3597.
