Netha Lavonda Smith

Smith, Netha Lavonda, age 87, of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2024. She was born on October 6, 1936 in Brodhead, Kentucky to Cynthia and Noah Baker. Netha being a Christian was also a prayer warrior, loved her family, flower gardening, working and managing the Fairfield food pantry, which gave her great joy to be able to help in her community.

She is preceded in death by her parents; spouse, Winton Smith; son, Winton James Smith; grandson, Brett; sisters, Mary Thomas and a set of twins at an early age; brothers, Paul Baker, Noah Baker Jr., Earl Baker, Gene Baker.

Netha is survived by her daughters, Norma J. Sackenheim, Lisa Mellott; daughter – in – law, Tracy Smith; grandchildren, Niki, Victoria; great – grandchildren, Thomas, Savannah, Eli, Madison, Zeke; sisters, Lois Roark, Melva Shepard, Martha Brock. She will be loved and cherished by a host of family and friends.

A Visitation will be held at 10:00 am until Funeral Services at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at the Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45011.
