Norma Jane (Goebel) Little

Norma Jane (Goebel) Little, age 89 of Hamilton, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2014. Norma was born on June 6, 1924 to James A. and Florence A. (Zimmerman) Goebel. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother. Norma dearly loved her family and friends and enjoyed her time with them. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post #7670. Norma leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Linda (Gene) Shafer, Marlyn (Phil) Smith, Karen (Gary) Daniel and Mike (Sue) Little; nine grandchildren, Leah (Tracy) Knox, Karisa Smith, Kelly Theis, John (Natasha), David, Joseph and Paul (Ashley) Daniel, Angela (Donnie) Combs and Kristina Little; ten great-grandchildren; two devoted sisters, Flo Moore of Hamilton and Helen Layton of Meadowlakes, TX; brother, James (Gracie) Goebel of Hamilton; many nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Faye Chestnut. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie “Bud” Little; parents; two sisters, Hazel Brown and Dorothy Hesselbrock; and two brothers, Donald and Roy Goebel. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton. Interment will follow in Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the funeral home from 12pm until 2pm.
