Patricia J. "Pat" Hubbard Phillips

Patricia J. "Pat" Phillips, age 59, of College Corner, was called home to Heaven on Friday April 6, 2012 at McCullough Hyde Memorial Hospital. She was born in Hamilton on September 18, 1952 the daughter of the late John B. and Anna Mildred (Briggs) Hubbard. Patricia grew up in Hamilton and married the love of her life Dennis Phillips, 38 years ago. Pat worked at Liberty Nursing Home in Oxford, a job she loved, with people she loved working with. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Dennis Phillips; two sons, Billy (Rachel) Karr and Roger (Jessi) Karr both of Hamilton; two daughters, Maria (Walter) Freytag of Hamilton and Christina Sampe of Kentucky; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Paris A. Hubbard of Indiana; a sister, Freda Retherford of Dayton; a brother-in-law, Bobby L. Phillips and his wife Deborah of Hamilton; many other relatives and friends including Marge and Ray; and her loving and devoted pet Rocky. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Mary, Delores, and Harriet. Funeral service will be held at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Ave. at South “D” Street Hamilton on Tuesday, April 10th at 7:00 PM with Rev. Jacob Flannery officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Cremation will follow. Pat’s family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff of McCullough Hyde Hospital for their care and concern.
