Richard was born in Columbus, OH on July 3, 1930 to Frank and Ruth Dolan. He graduated from Vandalia-Butler HS in 1949. Richard is survived by his present wife, Carol Dolan, and his former wife, Regina (Lampman) Dolan; four children, Michael (Amy), Teresa, Patrick (Diane), and Kelle Dolan; seven grandchildren, Chad, Anthony (fiancé Kayla), Tyler, Alex (Julie), Eric, Zack, and Rachel. Richard was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Dolan; and son-in-law, Curtis Hunt. He served honorably in the US Army (Korean War) and retired from El-Bee Office Outfitters. Richard and Carol were happily together for 44 years and married for 28 years. They enjoyed collecting antiques and working on their home. He was a remarkable husband and father. He never knew a stranger and always had a joke or something to say – a definite Irishman. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him! Visitation will be 11:30am until 1:30pm on Friday, November 9, 2018 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton. Funeral Service will be held at 1:30pm on Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Jacob Flannery officiating. Entombment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery Mausoleum.
