Robert Dennis Holian

Robert Dennis Holian, age 73, passed away at home, surrounded by loved ones, on March 20, 2023. He was born in Covington, Kentucky on April 17, 1949 to Verner Grant Holian and Rita Marie Kemen. Bob retired from Cinergy after 37 years of service but continued to stay active. He worked seasonally at FedEx as a delivery driver and in the maintenance department at Rose Hill Cemetery. Bob enjoyed using his vast knowledge and skills to help others. He was passionate about playing with his grandchildren and watching them play their various sports and activities. He also enjoyed playing cards and billiards, exploring ever changing weather patterns, astronomy, keeping his yard in pristine condition and attending The Indianapolis 500 every year. As a member of Four Corners Community Church, Bob was a man of strong Christian faith and also served as Grand Knight of The Glenmary Knights of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, William Holian; sister, Betty Jeanne Oliver.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Jayne (nee Graf); sons, Robert J. Holian (Cathleen) and Kennith M. Holian (Mary Beth); daughter, Amy M. Amrein (John); brothers, Richard Holian and James Holian; sisters, Beverly Tabe and Patsy Franxman; 13 grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Rd., Hamilton, OH 45011 from 5:00-7:00 on Sunday, March 26, 2023. Funeral services will take place on Monday, March 27, 2023, beginning at 10:00 am. Pastor Ben Hodges, officiating.
