Robert Mitchell Snyder

Robert Mitchell Snyder (Bob), age 75, 0f Hamilton, Ohio, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2023. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on February 5, 1948, to Richard F. Snyder and Oma G. (Agee) Snyder. Bob served honorably in The United States Army during Vietnam and received the Purple Heart Medal. He was retired from the Hamilton City Power Plant after 30 years of employment. Bob was never a stranger to anyone. He was always seen smiling, loved to laugh, played jokes on people, and hugged everyone he knew. Bob jokingly referred to himself as being “older than dirt” any time the grandkids asked how old he was. He would do anything for his friends, family and church or anyone in need. Bob loved traveling and going on vacations especially with his Sister and brother-in- law, Lucy and Ron his favorite vacation spot being Hilton Head Island.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and two sisters.

Bob leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Karen; son, Robert M. Snyder (Jenny); daughters, Sirra E. Lewis (Douglas) and Miranda N Weller; grandchildren, Micah, Elijah, Matt, Ian, Molly, Alex, and Isaac; great-grandchildren, Kaiden, Braylin, Kylie, and Minerva; sisters, Diana and Terry a host of other family, friends, and his church family, who will miss him dearly .

Visitation and services will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Millville Avenue Nazarene Church, 308 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, 45013 from 10:00am until services at 12:00pm. Pastor Dan McDowell, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Millville Avenue Nazarene Church music fund.
