Rolland A. McKee

Rolland A. McKee, age 89 of Hamilton, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at The Woodlands of Hamilton. He was born in Hamilton on October 8, 1925, the son of the late Rolland A. and Miriam L. (Hapner) McKee. Rolland was married to Rilda Catherine (Herzog) McKee, and she preceded him in death on December 3, 2010. He was a Firefighter for the City of Hamilton for 25 years, retiring in 1981. Rolland served in the United States Army during WWII. He was also a lifetime member of the AMVETS Post #1983 and Monkeys Mutual Aid Society. Rolland is survived by his children, Brian (Tari) McKee and Tracy (Neil) Huffman; grandchildren, Daniel (Samantha) McKee and Jennifer McKee; great-grandchild, Bradley McKee; and friends too numerous to count. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and sister, Mary Ann Stewart. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 10 - 11 AM on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton. A Graveside Service will be held immediately following the Gathering at Millville Cemetery, 2289 Millville Avenue, Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Shared Harvest Food Bank, 5901 Dixie Hwy., Fairfield, OH 45014.
